About Us
Uni-tea products is a partnership manufacturing business operated by Mother and daughter from the community of Fond St Jacques, quarter of Soufriere which began in September, 2022. Uni-tea Product was incorporated on 13th September 2022 and seeks to provide a range of local based cocoa products and a lot more for consumption within households and food establishments Island wide. We are also avid promoters of healthy lifestyle and as such encourages the consumption and use of traditional local products in an easy-to-use form at an affordable rate. Our core business focuses on establishing a sustainable manufacturing enterprise which benefits the community of Fond St Jacques, by providing employment as well as economic growth to the community’s local farmers directly. Our range of products to be developed includes our well-known cocoa powder with and without spices, cocoa tea bag, cocoa capsule truffle, a variety of different teas and mixed dried herbs.

Meet Martha a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning over three decades in early childhood education and over seven years in the agro-processing business. With a passion for nurturing young minds and fostering growth in the agricultural sector, she has dedicated her career to making a difference in both fields. Having worked tirelessly in early childhood education for over 30 years, Martha has honed her skills in creating enriching environments for young learners to thrive. Her commitment to providing quality education and nurturing the holistic development of children has left a lasting impact on countless families and communities. In the agro-processing business, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise gained from years of hands-on experience. Her journey in this field has been marked by continuous learning and growth, as evidenced by the numerous certificates she has obtained in various aspects of agro-processing and manufacturing. From crop cultivation to food preservation techniques, Martha possesses a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in turning raw agricultural products into value-added goods. Beyond her professional endeavors, Martha finds immense joy and fulfillment in her role as a mother of three daughters and grandmother to three grandchildren. Allow me to introduce Moanna Calixte Octave, a proud native of the serene community of Fond St Jacques in the Soufriere quarter. She stands as the visionary founder and proprietor of Uni- Tea Products, alongside her unwavering commitment as a civil servant within the Saint Lucian government. Amidst her professional endeavors, Moanna embraces the cherished role of motherhood, nurturing her 9-year-old son with love and dedication. Moanna's academic journey commenced at Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary School and flourished with a degree in Business Management. Her quest for knowledge led her to pursue various certifications in Sales & Marketing, Effective Supervisory Skills, Bookkeeping, Project Management, and Food & Beverage Services. Driven by a passion for agro-processing, she has furthered her expertise through a blend of online and in-person courses, delving into the intricacies of this vital industry. Looking toward the horizon, Moanna harbors aspirations to acquire degrees in Entrepreneurship and Innovations, alongside Human Resource Administration, fueling her drive for continuous growth and innovation. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds solace and joy in outdoor escapades with loved ones, indulging her creative spirit through canvas painting, relishing culinary experiences paired with wine tasting, and channeling her energy into home improvement projects during moments of leisure.
